Thanks, Dave. My mom died of Alzheimer’s, so I can relate. I wonder why good customer service is so rare these days.

  • As the son of a mother who passed away due to 15 years of Alzheimer’s, I wonder the same things. Surprisingly, the thousands of us in this position have not been surveyed, communicated with, or otherwise solicited for our experiences in attempting to alleviate our loved ones from the throes of this condition. Together, we might agree on some worthwhile approaches to treatment that then could be adapted by the most unskilled but nonetheless committed caregivers. Those of us who are also into marketing understand that successful marketing is only as successful as the mutual relationships within which such marketing takes place. Unfortunately, as government-controlled healthcare persists and grows, such relationships between the controllers and “we subjects” will become weaker and weaker.

We still have the ability to reverse these trends, if we act with haste. And above all, with Faith.

Thanks for opening the door to this discussion, Dave. Godspeed!
